Trace Analysis (analyze)
Ingest captured JSONL traces, evaluate deterministic rules, and output verified failure findings without cloud dependencies.
Last updated: 2026-10-31•v0.1.0
The lastsignal analyze command reads a saved JSONL trace and evaluates it against all deterministic failure rules. It provides immediate, offline confirmation of why an agent execution failed.
Command Syntax
bash
$# Auto-detect and analyze the latest failed trace in .lastsignal/traces/
$lastsignal analyze
$# Analyze an explicit trace file
$lastsignal analyze .lastsignal/traces/ls_9f8e210a.jsonl
Zero-Argument Auto-Detection
If you call lastsignal analyze without specifying a path, Last Signal scans .lastsignal/traces/ in your current workspace, sorts by file modification timestamp, and automatically selects the most recent trace that recorded a failure or abnormal exit code.
